Christmas Tree Lot 2004 Tree Lot Instructions

All proceeds from tree sales help to sustain YMCA programs that build strong
kids, strong families, and strong communities.
v
Volunteers make tree stands plus stand, water, sell, and deliver
trees. Lot managers or directing staff
train, direct, and assist volunteers.
v
Tree lot set up consists of standing awnings, setting up a workstation,
hanging lights and signs, making stands, and standing trees.
v
Parents in Y-Adventure Guides should speak to their group leader to
schedule their shifts. As a rule, each
parent should work two 3-hour shifts and arrive 15 minutes before the start of
each shift.
v
Group leaders- sign up your group for two shifts or more if able. Then remind your parents of their work shift
a day or two in advance. They should
arrive 15 minutes before the start of their shift and they may bring their
children.
v
